From the time I moved in in Jan 2007 not more than a week had passed and my entire pipe system flooded. Sewage backed up in my home. We were not allowed to leave or even move to another apartment. The appliances are old, I've put in maintenance request for my stove that has sparks coming out everytime I turn on the burners, the diswasher is gross and is broke and they still haven't fixed that as of yet request have been put in since Jan of 2007, and my bath tub will not come clean!!! I've cleaned w/every cleaning product I could find and nothing works. I feel like I'm bathing in someone elses filth. They said there was nothing they could do. I finally got a new microwave. The property is old and is in deperate need of major remodeling. It's ragedy!!! DON'T MOVE IN HERE!!! They do patch work for repairs!!!! $721 is waaaay too much to pay for these apartments. I was paying less for waaaaay more apartment last year, how I regret my decision to move here!!!!!

Just curious - didn't you have a good look at the place BEFORE you moved in? Anyway, thanks for the warning. $721 IS too much.

We looked before we moved and we like it here. Griping about $700 for a 2 bedroom, 2 bath?! Sorry...you don't see anything lower in Arl. unless you are moving into drug and bug infested flop house apts. The Villas are none of these in my experience. If you have had that many problems with the property then you should look into legally breaking your lease..there are ways if things have been so terrible. Stop moaning and do something about it.
