I moved to Texas in Aug 06 and Waterdance almost soured me on the entire state of Texas!! But before I start getting boo's from all of you great Texans I have definitly come to love Texas in the last year!! I was definitly very naive when I assumed I could trust the reviews on this website about this apartment and didnt pay attention to any of the dates of the good reviews (if you notice most of the good reviews are several years old.

When I moved into my apartment I was unpleasantly surprised to open my dishwasher and find roaches crawling around, not just one but ALOT of them. It is true that they do have weekly pest control but whatever they are using is NOT working b/c the roaches only came in larger quantities and I am sure alot of it came from our neighbors who's idea of taking out the garbage is to leave a box outside of thier door and toss their childrens dirty diapers into the box outside the door until the box over flows and gets all over the sidewalk. "CRINGE" Walking through dirty diapers was not pleasant and the apartment managment never did anything about my multiple complaints. The a/c in my apartment was broke no less than 2 weeks out of every month during this and last summer and b/c I had a townhome and heat rises I had to sleep in my front room several times b/c of the heat. My refridgerator broke 4 times and all of my food spoiled each time and even though we told the apartment management each time this happened it still took them several days to come and even look at it and then they generally had to order a part to fix it which took another couple of days (you would think the 2nd time would have been the clue to replace the it). One day I came home to find a giant hole in my kitchen leading to the apartment next door. I called managment and they said there was a problem with some pipes next door and they had to fix it from my side. I could see everything my neighbors did and hear everything they watched on TV for 3 days until they fixed it. It would have atleast been common courtesy to let me know in advance that they were going to tear my apartment apart and make it possible for my neighbors to climb right through the hole in my wall into my apartment. And of course their is the deejay living across the courtyard who likes to blare music at all hours of the day and night and the beer bottles everywhere on a Monday after all of the big parties each weekend. I have a Bachelors in Education and love kids BUT the kids at Waterdance will run in front of your car and on several occassions have walked right into my apartment. The kids run wild everywhere I guess the occupants at Waterdance are not worried about their children being kidnapped or hurt.

Okay I am through raving but I do caution you to seriously give some thought into moving to this apartment complex. Sure the rent is good expecially for the sq footages but what good is it if you are sharing your sq footage with so many roaches that you and friends have jokingly started giving names to them just to make it bearable'

Thank you Chelleche, I know that this reply to you is coming 2 yrs later but thats because I just got into finding out that there are reviews online about this apartment. I have lived here now for 3 yrs or so and I am ... (<-->) <--this much which Isn't much on just doing what I please here. I mean the management states that the OWNERS of this apartment complex doesn't allow pets. i.e. dogs or cats. Only caged pets are suposedly allowed like farrets, gerbals, birds, fish ect. My son wants a pet and I want to get him a cat. The management claims to be inforcing the NO dogs or cat rules but I've yet to see this happen. I am fed up as a tenant of this place for so long I can not afford to move right now. It would be a miracle if I could move to a place who appreciates their tenants enough to make this feel like a pleasant place to live. At least I thought this was a pleasant place to live but now I'm recommending if anyone else wants to move here. I say to you... ""GOOD LUCK!"" Connie and the staff here are great! I know Connie is doing all that she can do follow the OWNERS standards and rules. But with so many tenants doing as they please no matter what, how can she? I say to her.. Thank you for being a great friend and manager to me but good luck in wanting to keep a job here. So many have came and gone for something better! I don't blame you if you go before I do from this place and never look back! A home is what one makes of it. I just hope that while I'm still here that it only gets better! forevrhappy2003@aol.com
