This place has been nothing but trouble since we moved in July 2007. The carpet was old thoughtout the apartment and molded in the bathrooms and stained and when asked to change out the carpet, they said no. There were nails on the stairs sticking out in which me (pregnant) and my 3 year old daughter poked out toes several times. Finally some came and just hammered down the nails sticking up. Since then more nails have come up and we have had to just hammer them down ourselves. There was an empty cabinet in the kitchen with no bottom that was filthy and full of trash. The paint on the tile on the fireplace and tile in the entry ways was chipped and the manager at the time said she could get it fixed but I never heard anything. The worst problem is that there is a serius sugar ant infestation in the walls. They are everywhere!!!! In the bathtubs, toilets, pantry, counters, beds, floor, trashcan, desks, sinks.....EVERYWHERE!!!! I called the manager the end of July to let her know about the ant problem; she said that the exterminator would come August 27th. SAugust 27th came and went ants were still everywhere. I called and she said that other residents said that they never saw the exterminator. That she would be calling them back. I never heard anything back. I called them back the manager I usually talk to was no longer with the company. So I told the new manager the problem she said she would call the exterminator and let me know as soon as she knew when they were coming. It's been a week and I still havent heard anything. Now the ants are eating through boxes in the pantry to get to our food. Ants are in everything. This place is terrible!!!!

You poor thing.You sound like you got my old apartment. I had to break the lease. I too had old, dirty, moldy dish rags under the sink, and when I called the apartment manager, she said that she would send maintenance. Needless to say, I ended up putting electricel tape around the sink cabinents so that I, or my children would not get into them.
