Woodcreek Apartments

RIP OFF From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 12/19/2003 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2003   I lived at the Woodcreek for one year and I know that I was paying to much for what I got. I had a view of the pool. The pool is nice but on the weekends people that do not live at the apartments pull up in a van and what seems like hundreds of little kids get out and swim all day. Around seven they would usually pile in the van and leave. I saw this happen almost every weekend over the summer. The pools restroom was always nasty. There used to be a hot tub but the apartments covered it up with wood to make a deck. There is no excercise room in the apartments. All the surrounding apartments have excercise rooms and offer cheaper rent with better discounts. The apartments are old and it seems that everything in it is the original 60's or 70's appliances. The oven and microwave were great if you like waiting an hour and a half for food. The carpet had some type of mold under it. I would scrub the carpet and make it look nice and a week later there would be new mold spots. The worst thing about the apartment I lived in was the air conditioning. It broke two times and both times maintenance fixed it pretty quickly. However, the apartment never cooled off unless you kept it running 24/7. Closing vents did not help either. My electic bills were insane. Terrible insulation. By the time I moved out my back door would not open because it was warped. People around me were nice and I felt safe there. I just felt like there should have been more to do at the apartments and that things should be updated a little for the price that you are paying. There are way better places for the same price or less with more amenities.
