I have lived in Townview for four and half years. When I first moved in the neighborhood was quiet and very nice(it sits between a church and a school). But in the past year and a half it has gone down tremendously. I am currently looking for a new place. There are a lot of new shady characters, with shady company that have no repsect for you, your property, or you right to get a decent nights sleep because of all the loud noise and parties. They have become roach infested and rat infested since the old maintenance guys are gone. They refuse to repair ANYTHING in a TIMELY FASHION. Ive lived in apartments a lot since I've left home and having kids myself now, I thought this was the best place to raise them in Athens since a lot of the town and apartment complexes are infested with drug and crime. Its one of the more expensive apartments in Athens and you expect more when you pay more. To put it mildly, this place has become a high priced project!
