Out of curiosity I came to this website to see what rating my complex had. Every review written here is the truth. It kind of made me laugh to see the responses the reviews had.... "fraud"' Actually, if I didn't live here I might think it was a fraud too. However, this complex really is just that nice. Jeff and Leslie are mentioned in every review probably because they are very good landlords. This is my first apartment complex I have lived in after moving from a dorm (University Towers- which was crap). My boyfriend and I met Jeff and Leslie and felt like they were very down to earth people. They made us feel extremely comfortable about living here. They explained to us their goal is to make available affordable housing to young people who can't afford big rents. Leslie and Jeff keep all of us tenants updated with anything going on with everyday e-mails. And if you have a problem you can e-mail them or go to their office which is on site. We have lived here for a year now and love it. Bill, the handy man, is mentioned as well b/c he is a very nice guy who is always there to tend to our problems. He lives on site and you can catch him outside everyday working and doing his job.

The only complaints that I have is that you are given 1 visitor pass which you give to the person who is visiting for their car after 6 pm. Other than that you can't have more than 1 visitor (or car) at a time due to that. However.. sometimes due to alot of ppl moving in Leslie will put a "grace period" of not having to use to the parking permit. The units are spacious enough for the rent about.. and all bills are paid.. including internet. The A/C never gives us a problem.. sometimes there is construction which will cause the A/C to have a problem but that has only happened a couple times since we have lived here. I also wish there wasn't a pet rent of $20 a month but the apartment grounds are always clean and kept up and feel safe walking my dog around the area. The pool is not great but it's average. The area is great being just about a 10 min walk from the drag and 15 min walk from UT. ACC is also really close. There is a dillo stop about a 15 min walk away that takes you straight to the Rio Grande campus.

All in all, this is a very safe and nice complex to live in. It's old but kept up nicely. You really won't find a better deal.
