HAPPY TO BE BACK - I lived here from March 2008 to March 2009. I had a death in the family and the first year here in Austin was really great for healing. I left Sterling Springs because I felt like I needed to explore other areas in Austin. I regretted that move, but was able to rectify that mistake. I moved back here in the middle of September, 2009. I signed another 1 year lease. The manager (Matthew) ...Full review of Sterling Springs Apartments

I am a Proud Bellavistian..... - I have only lived here a small amount of time but im absolutely in love with these apartments. The staff is so wonderful i cant compliment them more. I live right by the pool and the gym i assumed that it was going to be horrible and the noise was going to be unbearable to my surprise the noise level was very tolerable (nothing crazy). They have continental breakfast atleast every other weekend. ...Full review of Villages of Bella Vista

DO NOT LIVE IN BUILDING 26!!! - I'll stop off by venting, because I have not slept at all last night, due to this apartment complex, but however I will focus on some of the nice things here. Now whatever you do, do not live in building 26, specifically, apartment 2601. My window is literally right across from the Sun Harvest loading dock. At 11:00pm, at least once a week, a semi truck ...Full review of Retreat at Barton Creek

Worst management and maintenance - The worst management and maintenance. The staff is not at all friendly. May be they are good with only their race. Not at all a safe place. Gates don't seem to work. Multiple thefts in one week. Roaches. The management don't seem to bother even after complaining. Maintenance issues: Patio door lock works intermittently and the maintenance guy will not replace it. In turn asks the ...Full review of San Paloma Apartments

Stabbing, crime, NO NO NO! - I had an extremely bad experience living there. I chose to live there because of the reasonable pricing, furnishing, and proximity to a UT shuttle stop, but that was all. Crime is constant in and outside of the complex. When I used to live there back in 2006-2008; there was a stabbing INSIDE the University Canyon complex. Here is the link to the news article. ...Full review of University Canyon

Double stand management staff - The management staff of this property never stick to their commitment. They always take advantage of people's limits. They will never give you a market price of the rent what they post on web page. Never trust verano management. ...Full review of Verano at the Domain

Seems to be the same person complaining a lot.... - If you are that miserable here, leave already! It's miserable people complaining all the time that makes this world a more difficult place to live in. Fix your issues and stop complaining! Seems some people are just miserably content in their lives. Anyway, so far I have had a great experience working with the Avendaro staff. Drew has been great and very helpful and the others I ...Full review of Avendaro at Canyon Creek

Do not move here, current resident 11/09 - I cannot wait til my lease is up! I currently live here (November 09). Since the recent hail damage/rain my apartment has gotten worse and worse! Huge droop in ceiling from water damage, brown spots on walls from rain leaks/mold growth. Also a huge portion of my carpet is stained from the rain damage as well! Floor boards are rotting from the damage. The outside looks horrible from all the ...Full review of Marthas Vineyard

Very unsatisfied - My time here hasn't been all bad. When I first moved in here, I LOVED it!! The apartments are roomy and laid out very well. I understand I can't lay all of the blame on the management because that would be stupid. I do know there are many residents here who don't give a crap about others. I bought a new car when I moved in here last year and the number and intensity of the ...Full review of Salado at Walnut Creek

How not to respond to tenant questions and complaints - Management must be monitoring the feedback on this site. All "valued residents" received a letter this week intended to clarify some "Frequently Asked Questions". Once again, they need to explain trash pick up. It's a nice thing to be able to place trash curbside 3 days a week. It doesn't matter how many times they explain the rules or how often they threaten ...Full review of Monterone At Steiner Ranch
