Great place for living downtown! - I have lived at 404 Rio Grande for about 2.5 years. The location is amazing, and I am lucky enough to occupy one of the units that faces shoal creek. The windows look out over lush trees and a pretty creek, lending a treehouse-like ambiance to our basement apartment. In the time that we have lived at 404, we have had some unusual maintenance hassles. First, our air conditioner ...Full review of 404 Rio Grande

It's alright - I lived here for 2 years from Aug of 2004 to Aug of 2006. Overall I would say for the price it is an okay place. We never had leaks or anything inside our apartment, when our heater broke and needed a new one management got us a new one fairly soon. The neighborhood isn't the best of the best, I would not recommend single young ladies to live here alone. Parking: parking is ...Full review of Legacy Apartments

Cheap but (of course) there are obvious drawbacks - Ok I'll start with the obvious advantages of living here: -Affordable pricing for Travis Heights (even though they've started to charge more than they used to, rent is nowhere near the price at the Madrid or Newning Oaks) -Small complex, mostly quiet except for a few poorly trained/cared for dogs (the dog directly across the street and the dog on the east side of the complex are ...Full review of Cliff House Apartments

Somewhat Neutral - The woman that manages the apartment is VERY rude. I had thought she was crazy from the moment my roomates and I started to look at the available apartments. She complained about everything in the apartment, from the way the furniture was moved to the tenant's preference, to simple things that were hung in the room. If the table wasn't wiped, she would complain about that as ...Full review of Vip Apartments

Good choice for UT students - I've lived in a 1/1 at Villa Arcos since June 07, and I am moving out this August 08. I lived here with my wife while she attended UT law. We're leaving because she graduated law school and we're moving to Houston. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with this apartment. The neighbors are pretty quiet, seems to be mostly grad students. The location relative to campus is ...Full review of Villa Arcos Apartments

Great place, I was very happy. - My name is Doug and I lived in Presidio for about 2 years. The only reason I moved out was because I bought a house, otherwise I think I wouldn't stayed there for a very long time. The management staff has always taken good care of me, even when I was being a tad unreasonable. Always professional in appearance & manner. The staff are people too, they are as nice to you as you ...Full review of Presidio Apartment Homes

Good budget apartment if you're single - I picked this apartment out of a catalog when I moved to Texas via Illinois. I did see a few college kids buying drugs in the parking lot, and I also had to call the cops twice to stop some serious domestic "disputes" going on with the neighbors. I would never go so far to call this a "family" complex. However, the apartment staff was great, the maintenance staff ...Full review of Convict Hill Village

Poor Maintenance and Management - The management can be rude and nasty at times. Our water gets shut off ALL THE TIME most often without notice. Requesting repairs can take weeks and when the maintenance guys get around to it they are rude and hasty. Once, a guy came to fix our garbage disposal and left two minutes after poking around under the sink. I asked him if he was finished and if it was fixed and he said yes and left. ...Full review of Villas At Oak Run
