Getting noisier

I moved here last spring, and gradually several things have started to happen: more drunks hooting outside when the bars let out at 2:30 am, more fire alarms being pulled around that time, more cars parked illegaly in the garage (thankfully management is trying to fix that), and more trust-fund kids moving in that party 'til 4am on a Tuesday. Also, units that face West Street will have months of construction to look forward to if and when a 20-story apartment building begins construction. I don't hear my neighbors, but the windows are so thin you can hear a pin drop (or a frat-boy urinate) a block away. Still a nice place to live, but soon I'll need a white-noise device to get to sleep.

You are a silly and stupid whiner. You need to take a breathe and realize that you live in DOWNTOWN AUSTIn. People will drink, people will jump in the hot tub at 5 am. Check your birth certificate.. yes it says 80, now shut up and LIVE a little.

Must've described you perfectly to get you all riled up. Wow. Now stop puking in the hot tub.

They aren't building a 20 story apt building, they are building a bank. The parking situation is much better now. Ever notice our garage sign says "parking by permint only"? As for the drunks, well yeah you should have expected that.
