Having talked with people who live at other downtown locations I think this is a great option.

There is some street noise but if you have a unit on the south side or courtyard the noise is minimal (other downtown places have it much worse).

Location is GREAT with the lake, cool bars, resteraunts, and stores(like the new Whole Foods, Waterloo Records, Book People, etc...) well within walking distance.

Having not been attending the weekday midnight parties that were mentioned previously (I'm sure this will spur another "old age" comment from the previous contributor) I have not had a problem with security here and have found the staff to be very helpful when needed.

My experince here has been extremely positive and I'm hard pressed to name a better downtown property...
