Lived at 404 for 6 months and I thoroughly enjoyed it. No apartment is perfect but this was everything I was looking for. The location is great. Walking distance to the warehouse district and many restaurants on 6th. Also, Whole Foods is a short walk and I'd frequently get dinner from there. The Town Lake jogging trail is also right around the corner.

With respect to noise I think it was what I expected. You can hear people coming back at 2am on Fridays and Saturdays if you have an apartment facing the courtyard but if you're already asleep it shouldn't bother you. Also, I have to say compared to where I live now I never heard noise from the people living above me. Right now I hear every step and opening of drawers like it's a loud thud! Never heard anything at 404 except the occasional people talking in the hallways or in the courtyard.

The management is good. They were always very nice, never lost my checks and maintenance was always done quick. I would love to have stayed there but I had to move for work.

Also, just a note, I never heard a fire alarm go off the entire time I lived here.
