03/14/12 by MLKJ: Lived here for almost three years. Pros: Super safe. I have the habit of running during late evening, usually 10 - 11, in the neighborhood, and never had any safety concern (I am a male though). Convenient. There is a UT shuttle stop within 5 mins walk distance (Route IF), and a 1L/1M bus stop that is even closer. There is a Central Market that is about 15 mins walk (5 mins more

09/16/12 by anonymous: My best friend and I rented at Tower Manor from August 1979 through December 1980. It was a great location and the maintenance man was very kind. He remembered the day of the sniper shootings back in 1966. I miss those days and would stay there a gain in a heartbeat if it were still around. Too bad Tower Manor is gone. more

02/12/14 by ausguy: Brand new apartments in an amazing neighborhood. Easily walkable to many fun restaurants and hang outs. The staff is amazingly friend and helpful. If you are having a bad day they will make you smile. The common areas are clean and well appointed. The pool with two gas grills is beautiful. The apartments are well built with great floor plans and wonderful finishes. more

06/22/05 by anonymous: At Twelve Oaks you get a decent place for a decent price. Here are some things about my apartment: new fridge and oven. Clean, but cheap, carpet (some units have wood or wood-esque flooring in the living room). Lots of kitchen storage but not much bathroom storage (have to keep linens in the kitchen!). You'll definitely want to view the actual unit you will be renting, since each unit more

06/03/13 by murx: I lived in Villa Arcos from the summer of 2009 until the summer of 2012 as a student at UT. I can honestly say I enjoyed the experience through and through. These are no luxury apartments - they are basic and even a little bit dated. But, they offer plenty of space for a student living alone. There seemed to be many crickets and roaches around the apartment complex, but I had never seen more

03/30/11 by anonymous: I've lived here for four years and loved it. This is despite the fact that each four-plex in the complex is now managed by a different property management company and all of them have been incompetent. For instance, they never figured out a good way to take care of the pool so it has been cemented over. And when there were large potholes in the parking lot, it took them 6 months or more

09/18/12 by Copperheadoma@gmail.com: Maintenance is always completed in timely manner, by competent and pleasant employees. Since this is a senior complex I feel a manager in the middle age range rather than younger, would be more beneficial to understanding the seniors problems and needs. grounds are extremely attractive and well kept. Overall rating would have to be a four star. more
