I lived in this apartment complex for 5 years. When I moved in, it was called Jefferson at Stonehollow and was owned by JPI. I never had any problems with JPI and was always treated well. I liked living here so much that I went from the large 2/2 to the large 1/1 when my roommate got married.

Things changed when AMLI took over. The most egregarious example of their negative treatment was when a sprinkler head broke right outside my apartment. After reporting the issue several times, it was finally fixed after about 2 weeks. That's 2 weeks of a 20' fountain of water every time the sprinkler system would come on.

This wasn't the main problem though. About a week after the sprinkler had been fixed, I started noticing a very musty smell in my apartment. I soon discovered that this was because the sprinkler had been shooting water up into the vent for the dryer, and water was getting into the AC shafts and inside the walls. My outside closet and everything in it were totally covered in mold. I lost a couple thousand dollars worth of possesions to water and mold damage, and mold started visibly growing on the AC vents.

This was shortly before I moved out. They never apologized or offered any kind of recompense for my loss, and had the gall to attempt to charge me for carpet stains.

Also, the reviews that reffered to the problems involving the fitness and rec center were absolutely accurate. As I lived in the building right next to the center, I saw it all.

Avoid this complex like the plague.
