Not quite as bad as a slumlord

This was the absolute worst place I have lived in my entire life.
Looks are very deceiving. The grounds look nice to lure in suckers...I mean new tenants. They have a lot of fancy amenities, like gorgeous pools with a couple of waterfalls, a hot tub, and a gym with locker rooms, showers, and saunas. The apartments are huge. They allow pets. They also rent garages.
But the people working there are morons. Whenever I would have a problem with something I could show was AMLI's fault in black and white, I would be condescendingly told how it was my problem and that I need to do whatever they said to make up for their deficiency.
I had a leak in my apartment. I repeatedly called and told them about it. They never fixed it even by the time I moved out.
The hot tub was broken about half the time I lived there. The sauna was broken almost the whole time I lived there.
After your lease runs out, they use gestapo-like tactics to get you to sign a new lease. If you don't, they jack up your rent by 30 percent and then tell you it is a "convenience fee". I call that gouging instead.
There are a lot of noisy, obnoxious college kids who were too stupid to get into UT but whose parents are rich enough to send them to ACC and pay the exorbitant rents at the hell-hole known as AMLI. They would stand outside my apartment at 3am every Friday and Saturday night. I would hear them say things like how the one guy peed on the lawn the night before right out there. Nice.
Avoid this place like the plague. I have learned the hard way that huge corporate-run apartments are generally crap. I had much better results living in a smaller community. I now rent a condo from an individual. It is SO much better than AMLI.
