People who are complaining about office not responding to maintenance issues are kind of right. I would go in and ask for something then the office would forget and it won't be fixed, but here's the thing... On Amli's webpage you can create a username and password and then submit your orders online. I submitted some orders during my 1 year and they would come the next day or the day after that. Super fast. So it may be true that the office people forget to submit your order, but honestly you should be smart enough to submit it yourself.

As far as noise goes. This is the best insulated apartment I've lived in. Over the year I haven't heard any noise from people around me. Also, I got a great deal on my apartment and am fully satisfied with everything.

The heating/cooling system here is kind of slow though. Takes a while to heat up or cool down your apartment and I found the price of electricity here to be decently high. Also you are charged about 35 dollars on average on top of your bill for water and waste/disposal stuff. It's probably in the fine print but I didn't know this until probably a month after I lived here.

All and all though, it's the best place I've ever lived in. It's not perfect but I've lived in some really crappy places in Austin and so far I think AMLI does a great job compared to others. aLKeoXpj3s4OSgrp1trb

Lucky you. I was not that lucky in my year over there. The students party on their balcony (it's near ACC) making a racket and slam doors all the time... the entire building shakes. Not very peaceful! The electricity bills were super high because the system was poorly maintained and not efficient at all. Probably this will depend on what floor you are in... 3rd? forget it!
