Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2009

i have lived here for 2 years and am moving only because i am leaving austin. i originally picked these apartments because of their location, larger bedrooms than other apartments in the area i looked at, and price. the staff is very nice, the grounds are well kept, management notifies residents of any problems such as break-ins, inspections, maintenance. ACC northridge is right across the street. has washer and drier hookups and onsite laundry rooms, but that seems typical of this area. closets are big.
a few bad things:
1) the floors are thin or the girls upstairs are fat, i haven't decided
2) my neighbors upstairs are loud on the weekends and sometimes my neighbors downstairs are loud, but that's typical of apt living
3) i have seen 1 car window broken into in the two years i have lived here and my roommate had several things stolen out of his car, but he left the window open...stupid
4) packages are delivered to the front office and sometimes the staff labels them with the wrong apartment number, but they have never lost a package of mine
5) i had to resign for a 13 month lease instead of a 12, i still don't understand

No way does this dump deserve a 4. There have been many break-ins. The car gates often do not work. The nice staff has been replaced by foaming-at-the-mouth trolls. Homeless people camp in the trees between buildings. It sucks living here.
