I hate my apartment! DO NOT MOVE HERE!

AMLI at Stonehollow appears nice from the outside, especially with the new paint job. However, appearances are deceptive in this case. The painters did a horrible, quick job on the apartments, missing several areas in my building. Upon moving in, the leasing agent told us that mostly college students and young people live here. This was reasonable, as the community is next to ACC Northridge. However, the community is full of families with too many children for a 2-bedroom apartment and middle-aged people. Also, our section has NO parking. I often have to park outside the gate and walk to my apartment due to the lack of parking. While there are three pools, they are all tiny, and the hot tub has been a swampy mess for months. Crime is a huge problem. Several cars were broken into, and my roommate's car was keyed. Several second story apartments were also broken into from the balcony doors. AMLI refused to change the gate code even after the crime waves, because it would be too much of an inconvenience to everyone. Management is uncooperative, and they can't keep track of packages dropped off at the office. I had several problems with items that had been delivered by FedEx or UPS to the office. The office employees couldn't find them, and I'd often have to go back several times for the same package. I will definitely not renew my lease, and I would NEVER recommend this place to a friend. Worst apartment experience ever.

wow, "middle aged people" sounds like you need a party community, you should try the UT campus living. lets face the fact that car break in's don't have squat to do with a gate code! you think that someone that wants to come in can't just sit there and wait for the next guy driving through? as for packages, i get stuff delivered pretty often and its common sense that the apartment office isn't responsible for our packages. its a courtesy that they store our packages for us so that we don't have to run UPS/Fedex or post office.
