I've been an ideal renter. I have never paid late. I even renewed my lease. However, that was when I had good neighbours. Less than a month ago, our upstairs neighbour moved out and in moved a new neighbour. Since day one, several members of this new neighbour's family have been jumping up and down on the floor. At first I thought it was because they were moving in, but instead of getting better it has gotten worse. My wife walked outside one day because of the disturbing racket and looked up at their balcony. The "man" of the house immediately told everyone to stop jumping (she heard him say it). As soon as she went back inside, it started again.

These neanderthal not only jump on the floor all day and night, but they smoke on the balcony and drop their ashes into our balcony.

We went to the office to complain TWICE. The first time they said, "well, they recently moved in and are probably just moving things around." The office did nothing. Now, several weeks later, the noise has gotten worse. What does the office do when we complain about it' Once again, they say "it's normal for people to make noise like that." Excuse me, I've lived in many apartments before and this is the first time I've had people jumping (not walking) all day and night and making a non-stop racket. What gets me most upset is that management is NOT doing its job.

Another problem at AMLI is flooding during rain storms. Not only did our apartment get flooded, but ever since we've been invaded by red ants. My legs are covered with red-and bite welts. My daughter and wife's legs too. We are miserable.

Another neighbour smokes on his balcony and drops ashes on my car below. At times, it is like a volcano spewed ash upon it. I don't like my car being used as an ashtray.

Strewn about the property are beer bottles. Fast food trash blows about like tumble weeds.

I cannot recommend renting at AMLI at Stonehollow.
