I lived there for two years. Before leaving my mother and I cleaned thoroughly-everything was spotless! I was hoping to get some of my deposit back, but that didn't happen. I was shocked when they sent me a final account statement saying I needed to pay them $464.93. They said they had to put in new carpeting and paint so it would be ready for the next tenent.I tried to dispute the charges, but ---- was very nasty to me. I finally paid because she said I had 14 days to pay before it was turned over to a collection agency and reported to all the major credit bureaus.

The exact thing happened to me. It is an absolute scam. I was also charged for "smoke damage" to the mini-blinds. They had to be replaced they said! They said it was cheaper than cleaning them....oh yes, I don't smoke either! My car was also broken into twice and a Lincoln Navigator parked next to me was on blocks one morning. They never did anything to fix the problem. If you don't want your car broken into DO NOT live at these apartments. PS - If you already live there, don't bother cleaning when you move out, because you will NEVER see your deposit anyway.

situation like that happens all then time. I suggest you take pictures of the place before you move and after you move out. Then forcefully have one of the staff have a walkthrough and make them sign a paper stating all is cleaned and whatnot.
