My husband and I lived here for almost 3 years. It's a really nice complex...great views, nice layouts, etc. The main reason we liked this apartment is because it had a fenced backyard. But, we were told that the pet deposit was nonrefundable, which is ok, and that it would be used to any damage the pet may cause, including the carpet. Well, when we moved out, they slapped us with $800 carpet bill, which is crap because they are going to rip up the carpet anyway since there was a pet. Also, the security gates are never closed! Why even have them if they are always going to be broken' The month before we moved out, two apartments were broken into during broad daylight. And, cars were vandalized many times through our three years there. It's not like the apartment is in a bad neighborhood either. Like I said, the apartments are nice, but you get screwed if you live there!! And, depending on which you apartment building you live in, good luck finding a place to park! We also had a problem with our upstairs neighbors. They worked a late shift and would get home around midnight. We could here EVERYTHING they did!! And every time they took a shower/bath, it sounded like a giant waterfall. As far as the main office goes, the girls are very sweet but every time you go in there, you are told something completely different (ie the pet deposit above). The maintenance guys are really friendly, helpful and relatively quick to fix things... except for the lights in the parking lot. Every time it rained, a light by our complex would go out because it didn't have a cover. Instead of getting a cover for it, they would just change out the light bulb after it rained. We didn't have to pay pet rent, but that may have changed since we signed our lease.
I know you're probably thinking, "You lived there for three years so it couldn't have been that bad." Well, all of this happened within the last 6 months of our lease. Otherwise, we would have moved out sooner.

My huaband and I live here with our kids and yes they are very controling. /You can't put bikes or anything on you patio. I'm sorry but I pay my rent on time ever month and if I don't have space in my closets for camping gear or bikes then I should be aloud to put them on my patio. If they want to pay my rent then they can tell me what to do. My kids cant ride their bikes because we had to put them in a family member's garage. Our water bill also has gone up guess they have to make up for all their move outs. I will not renew my lease with this place and we haven't lived here a year. thats how uptight this place is. and i will tell everyone i know to stay as far away from this place as possible!!!
