Good apartment overall

First, this complex was built by Jefferson and purchased by AMLI about a year ago. The transition was very smooth and professional really from a resident perspective. And, as an added bonus, AMLI has added some great new community features--the Internet Cafe and weight/fitness facilities here are among the best and largest I've ever seen.
Overall I'd say this community is above average. I've had some problems with management--but who hasn't' The manager here is nice, though, and when there're probems, she gets them fixed. The maintenance staff is prompt and effective.
When I moved in these apartments were overpriced. These days they seem reasonable, if not perhaps still a bit above average.
The apartment amenities are nice--the Gourmet Kitchen package is phenomenal. The tubs are nice, lots of closet space, and the appliances are top notch.
I really only have on major complaint with this property and that's the noise. The insulation between and above and below apartments seems nonexistant. Noise travels very easily. Fortunately, the area itself is rather quiet so environmental noise isn't much of a problem inside the apartment.
All and all I'd definitely consider this complex above average, though.
