Whoever wrote the review on 10/14/2005... I hear ya! We moved in late October, about the same time. Our carpet was disgusting and there were stains from animal feces. The leasing agent, in the bitchiest way possible, informed us that it was spotless. (Guess she didn't notice the cobwebs in the tub either.) They ended up replacing the carpet, forcing us to extend our lease with our former community. And do you know what they then tried to do' They tried to tack on an extra MONTH to our lease because our move in date changed by a week.
This was the beginning of our problems: Then, a few months later when we were looking for a dog, they informed the shelter that we hadn't paid the pet deposit. (She got rude with the shelter worker!) We did pay our deposit, and have our bank records to prove it. (Our cat passed away during christmas time.) Now that we proved it, they acknoweledge it.
Everytime we go down there, one of their little agents gets nasty. The next day, we get a call of apology from the manger. The maintenence sucks. If you call with a problem, like rust in the dishwasher, they act like you are an idiot and ask "Did you clean it'"
The parking sucks. Unless you rent a garage and a carport, which we do, you will not find a spot. So be prepared for $25 for the garage and 18 for the carport. Monthly.
Its a safe complex. Its a pretty complex. The rent is really high for this market, but it is a nice place to live. BUT DOCUMENT EVERYTHING. You better be prepared to prove everything. They are rude, condescending, and just plain nasty. Oh, they will treat you like kings when you go check out the place... sign the lease and you are a roach. We cannot wait to move, if I were you I would look elsewhere. There is nothing luxury about having to deal with this garbage every month.
