Nice-looking, that's about it

My husband and I lived there for three years because it was really close to his work. When we finally moved, they didn't stop our electronic funds withdrawal and tried to take $1,045 out of our account! I had to spend nearly an hour on the phone trying to get that sorted out. Other problems:
You can hear *everything* your neighbors do. This includes talking, walking, and going to the bathroom, among other things. We had the bad luck to have particularly annoying neighbors who spent all night smoking on the porch and yelling at each other.
The carpet does get really dirty, really easily. We lost $250 of our deposit. It's a good thing they made us put down extra money when we moved in, so they could really bilk us!
Also, it's way too expensive!! We started at $731, and when we left three years later, they were asking for almost $900 -- for a 1BR in North Austin. Ridiculous.
Pros are that the pool is nice and the maintenance guy is really good at what he does and very quick about it if you have a problem.
