I would not recommend this place.

I moved in back in Feb 06 & at first I was extremely happy. I moved over from Amli at Stonehollow & Scofield Ridge is a huge upgrade from them...but that's about it. The main reason I moved out was price. They wanted over $1,000 for a 1 bedroom & a den (if you check out Amli.com they're asking $801 to $979 now for my apartment but wanted over $1K from me) . Give me a break, I can rent a 3 bedroom for that. Don't believe me check craigslist. When I 1st moved in they were reasonability priced, but since the toll road opened up, Amli prices have sky rocketed.

Where to begin--the office staff. Oh so many stories to tell. Don't expect them to help you out much. When & I mean when, you get them on the phone they are nice as can be. However getting them to call you back is the hard part. When I was moving out I had to call the office numerous times to set up a move out inspection appointment. I had to be out on a Monday so the week before I called Tuesday, Thursday & Friday. Finally at 5:50 pm ----- called me back & said oh I'm sorry I just got your message & of course she wasn't willing to stay later that day & do the inspection it had to wait until Monday. Good thing I cleaned the @$%$%! out of that apartment, otherwise lord know how much them would have made me pay. Speaking of cleaning, when I was finished cleaning my apartment, as I was walking down the stairs (I had the Pecan Valley Creek plan that has an inside stairwell that goes down to the garage) well the stairwell walls were covered in ants & termites. I went straight to the office & talked to ------. She told me they couldn't do anything right then & that it would have to wait until the following Friday. I told her I didn't care cause I'd already moved out & was just trying to help out the next people. I told her I some cell phone video of the bugs if she wanted to see them & of course she didn't. If anyone else would like to see my video, please reply & I'll be more then glad to share them. Oh speaking of bugs I think it was the 2nd time I called & had someone come out to dust my apartment, I called them to see if someone had been in my apartment, they asked if I had a notice on my door telling me they had been in there. I said no, so the girl replied well then no, no one has been in your apartment. So I asked her why didn't the pest control guys show up to dust my apartment. She asked me if I was scheduled to have them come out, & I said would I be calling if I wasn't . She told me she'd call me back. Needless to say the following Friday I got a notice saying pest control had been inside. Since moving out I received not 1 but 2 water bills from Amli. So far I have called the office twice & left messages asking them to return my calls..... & guess what I'm still waiting. One of the few times I ever heard anything from the office was when I first moved in & had my direct tv dish installed. At first it was hanging way over the edge & was given 5 days to correct it. I moved the dish back onto my patio, & about 1/2 inch of it was still over the edge of the railing, so I got another nasty gram from them. Later this totally shocked me cause I could walk about & see 4 or 5 others who were in violations of the same rule but nothing was being done.

Noise-- Oh my where to begin. My walls must have been the thinnest set of walls ever. The couple that lived upstairs sounded like elephants. I think the ground keepers started working at 8 am... which I always found amusing cause they're working before the people in the office. The outside stairwell, my bedroom was right next to the wall that the stairwell was mounted to, & you wanna talk about a racket that makes when someone goes up & down. The window musta been thin too cause one night at 3:30 am I had to yell out my patio door because some couple fighting at the bottom of the stairs & it sounded like they were inside my apartment. I told them to shut up & go to bed before I call the cops.

Insects-- as I said be before about the insects that wasn't the only time I had ants & nats running around. Amli policy about insects & bugs is it can wait until next Friday because that what there contract reads, so if you have ants, termites, bees... oh wait I have a bee story too... I had to call the office 3 times to get someone to knock the bee nest off the wall. I guess telling them on the 3rd call that my daughter was extremely allergic to them & that I'd be contacting Fox 7 on your side was enough to get them to knock them down. After this happened I knew it was time to go.

Parking-- you had better have a garage or car port cause otherwise you are in trouble. I had a garage & twice the parking lot was so full I had people park behind my garage. Both of them were kind enough to leave notes on there trucks telling me how to get a hold of them. When I contacted the office about this, they told me I should have had them towed. My response was why so they could come & key my truck or do something worse.

Security-- every six month or so you get these nice letter on your door telling you to lock your apartment & keep valuables out of your vehicles. Sounds like common sense to me. But let me say two things, 1st try fixing the main gates. They are broken most of the time. 2nd, put locks on the side gates, anyone can come & go as they please. Last summer things got so back they hired an off duty cop to walk around, but that only lasted a week, two at the most.

Utilities--- all I can say is that my bills are alot higher then my girlfriends who lived around the corner at Madison at Wells Branch. My electric bill during the summer averaged $70 & $35 during the winter. My gas bill, which I believe it just the hot water heat, $35 in summer & as high as $65 during the winter. My girlfriend are always half as much. She also kept here place colder then mine in the summer & warmer then mine in the winter. It's BS.

Pets-- people need to learn to pick up there dog s@#@#$---enough said.. you can't hardly let your kids play in the court yards in fear of them getting covered in it.

The pool area was by far my favorite thing about Amli at Scofield Ridge. They do have two, usually nice conditioned, gas grills for us to use. The weight room was also in good not great shape. The only bad thing I could say is that weights seem to disappear from there alot.

I could go on & on. If you chose AMLI.... GOOD LUCK...

And if you notice soon after you post good comments will just show up. They have someone monitoring to come in and contest the bad reviews. And try to bring the score back up.

1st someone edited my comments. I didn't put ---- in my comments, I dropped names. Why did someone modify my comments & remove ----- & ------'s names. Also, today is March 24 & I still haven't received a return call from the office. I also contacted the main AMLI Corp at: http://www.amli.com/Service/CircleOfService.aspx --- about how bad the office staff is.... & guess what I haven't heard back from them yet either. I guess it's a company policy, not just this complex, to not return phone calls or emails.

They do have a monitoring system. I posted my comment and had a phone call first thing the next morning about it. I am so sorry you are dealing with similar items like us. I have lived in an apartment since 2002 when we moved to Texas and I have never been treated so poorly by office staff when I have an issue. But I guess that is what happens anymore. Customer service has gone to the dogs. Hang in there!

I lived at Amlis at Scofield for a year, at first when you're trying to move in, of course they are super nice. If Bianca is there, she is a real help. After that, they hired new mgt and everyone in there did not seem to care. They were very useless to me, therefore, I moved out. I live at Canyon springs, and trust me, it's much better!
