Perfect place to live - once - or in a down market

The Good News: Floorplans are nice, especially if you like kitchens. They are unique. I believe this was once a JPI property, but could be wrong. The front office staff are very nice and accommodating. Maintenance is fantastic. Any problem tends to be fixed within 24 hours. Electric and gas are a little high, but not unreasonable. The way they prorate water is a little fishy, but its small potatoes.
The Bad News: Be careful about where in the complex you lease an apartment. If you are around a large number of garages and carports, finding close and free parking will be challenging. If noise is a major concern, go with the top floor. I've had a number of renters above my apartment. Some I hear and some I don't. Outside repairs can take a while. It took about 6 months to repair roofs after a major hail storm. It appears some carports are still in disarray. I'm still finding roofing nails. My biggest gripe is that they do not value their existing clients. If the market will even begin to allow a rent increase, it will happen. A company that will provide incentives to bring in new clients, but not take care of those who have proven themselves to be good renters has a business plan that is doomed to fail. As a renter, plan only to lease one time and enjoy it while it lasts. I won't lease again.
