Old poorly maintained bldgs, poor to no ventilation in apts, vents are filled with dust, corrosion and unknown materials that have not been cleaned out in what looks to be years, vents are painted over so you cannot adjust the vent blades, no washer/dryer connections, laundry rooms are always dirty, hot water not guaranted in washing machines, apt water bills are determined by mgmt rather than charging per apt consumption, resident vehicles are routinely towed for bogus reasons, cupboards too small and too few, toilet clogged easily, office collects large mail items and is usually closed when you get home from work so you can't get your mail, pets run free and within the pool area, glass containers and alcoholic beverages are brought into pool area, bugs are not controlled, not enough trash receptacles for the number of residents and dumpsters are usually overflowing, they'll also fine you for leaving your garbage beside the FULL dumpster and they don't provide a receptacle to put it in, gate with code for entry is often inoperable and you must go find one that works or climb over the gate to get to your apt.

Shall I go on' My notes are extensive!!!

If you have a parking permit to park in the gated areas you won't get towed. I never have had my car towed. I like the safety of the parking permit. Most of the apartments in Austin that I've come accross have water billed by Sierra Utilities. It's a very fair way to handle water. The highest water I recevied for a one bed has been below $10.00. If you were so unhappy with the set-up of the apartment, why did you sign a lease? I love the floor plan. Very large and spacious. I never heard from any other residents being fined for putting tash next to the dumpster. Furniture yes, trash no.
