The list of rules here has gotten longer and dumber as time has gone on. They are building a "university" right behind the complex, and many of us are quite sure that the new management is in the process of trying to make most of the current tenants angry and uncomfortable enough to leave, so that when said university opens, they will have a ton of places for the students to rent. It is July 19, 2007. Today a letter was posted on the door telling us that as of May 21, 2007 (almost two months ago people)there are revised pet rules. Did you know that piranha are poisonous' Thats pretty crazy considering they're scavengers. They are putting all kinds of random animals on the list that current tenants have including: tarantulas, ferrets, reptiles, squirrels, rabbits, and birds. Correct me if I'm wrong here, but aren't caged animals pretty easy to clean up after' Oh, and last month they lost our rent check and tried to evict us, telling us in a letter left on our door after office hours, that we must be out in two days. That's illegal in Texas, regardless of what the lease agreement says. Please do yourself a favor, and rent from one of the other 248 thousand apartment complexes on 620. This one is terrible.

Tarantulas roam the grounds freely around here, funny how it made it onto the list. I'm surprised they never mentioned my Indonesian Fighting Squirel. Certainly that must be more dangerous than the ever elusive poisonous phirana. That letter is a classic that I refuse to throw away.

If you have a tarantula, ferret, reptile, squirrel, or rabbit please let it go free. Wild animals belong in the wild not caged up for your selfish amusement. The exotic animals issue aside the note was put on our doors because of the tenants who are in violation of their pet lease.
Funny, but the new management lost my online rent payment the first month they took over and threatened a two day eviction with penalties. I had to prove I paid rent on time and I got no apology either after I did.
