What you can and should tolerate as a tenant are that the office hours are set, and that availability and response will depend on work load. However these are known to management. Sales staff should continue to handle the needs of prospective tenants and management should handle the needs of existing tenants. This way both are handled respectfully and in a timely manner. If expectations are set on completion of a work order, or an inquiry, they need to either be completed on time or explanation given as to the delay. Tenants have a right to copies of their contracts and they should be available upon signing and not waiting for management signatures.
Management should always be courteous and professional. I have only met the Assistant Manager and have not been impressed on either count.

I have not been a resident long enough to start commenting on whether or not this apartment complex has substantial issues, but suffice to say it wouldn't take long for to fix all that I have seen that needed improvement. I hope that when the ALARA Management, Sales, and Maitenance staff read this they can understand that my criticisms are meant to be constructive and hope that in the future every effort will be made for management to be more personable, for the scheduling of maintenance staff to be more predictable and dependable, for communication to existing tenants to continue to improve, and for the tenants themselves to understand what their responsibilities are in meeting management half way. Of course this could go back to no one having a copy of their contract, lol.

ALARA is a great value for the money sans issues. Trust that I will return here and re-emphasize that fact if the minor issues are resolved. Maybe we just got off on the wrong foot.
