I was one of first people to move in May 2006. The staff was very friendly, especially Keith. the maintenance is quick. yes, you can hear the sound through the walls, but it is to be expected in any apartment complex. i had to leave a note for the neighbors because i could hear their bed moving at night while they were engaged in a certain activity. yes you can hear people by the pool, but it closes at 10pm. to avoid sound, ask for an apartment facing away from the pool. it's dumb that they charge more for a "pool or city view", but just request one without it. parking is good near building 8-9. the left gate has been out of order a few times. i have had some difficulty getting notices that i have a package. the crickets previously mentioned is during the season that they are out. everywhere in Austin, you will find crickets. it was only 3 days that it was really bad. the water bills was around $30 a month. i think the rent is too high for a 1 bedroom ($800) and is increasing if you renew. if the rent was cheaper, i would definitely live here again.
