The office staff is nice, but somewhat snotty after you have moved in. They would probably be better off if they were less involved, it seems as though they are SOOO caught up in the community.

There are three packages, Metro, Luxe & Urban. With the Urban being the most expensive. Which doesn't seem right to me. When you look at the display at the front of the office it shows the concrete flooring as being this dark, beautiful and finished concrete, but when you look at the actual model apartment, it is nothing like the sample. The floor is so unfinished, it is a very light shade, which the sample is dark. There is supposed to be pebbles all over it, but there are barely any, it just looks crappy. Thats why I went with the Luxe, to me, it is the nicest, and it looks like you are actually getting your money's worth.

The pet park is nice, but no one ever shuts the gates, so you let your dog in on one side and he runs out the other side. And they never pick up after their dogs. Also, they have breed restrictions in the lease, yet there is a guy with a dog on the restriction list always at the pet park.

There is one trash compactor, on the opposite side of the complex which kinda sucks. You see everyone driving with trash bags on the hood of their car.

The bug problem is out of control. I know it is a new complex with construction still going on, but it is a little ridiculous. There are spiders and black bugs EVERYWHERE. I don't think I have gone a week without killing a spider or bug.

They need to get their sprinkler system on a normal schedule, for some reason it goes off at like 6:30 in the afternoon and then at 11:00 at night. The parking isn't amazing at the building that I live in, so when I get home from work, I walk through wet grass and mud.

It is a beautiful complex, and the office staff over all is very helpful and nice, I just sometimes get rubbed the wrong way with them. They are constantly adding new landscaping and it is relatively quiet, except the walls are very thin. I hear my neighbors alarm clock every morning, and the music they play when they are in the shower. They have great fixtures and wonderful floor plans at a reasonable price for the area.

At least we don't have dumpsters all over the place. I think the compactor is nice. I know it may be a bit out of the way, but at least we don't have to smell the trash when we come and go from our home. We use the pet park all the time and are thankful we have a place where our dog can run leash free. We have also really enjoyed our fenced in yard. I noticed the sample on the display board in the office is a little different than the actual concrete floor in our apartment. I'm sure there are no two alike. But, we were just thankful to be given some floor options other than carpet. We think the people in the office are very nice. They are the reason we leased here. The leasing agents at the other complexes we looked were rude, didn't want to show us anything and not nearly as professional as the AMLI staff. They host all kinds of events each month and we have really enjoyed living here.

Wow!That was a very well written response...sounds like it came straight from a member in the office staff. Some things that gave it away are.. "But, we were just thankful to be given some floor options other than carpet." "didn't want to show us anything and not nearly as professional as the AMLI staff. They host all kinds of events each month and we have really enjoyed living here." Nice Try.

the 9/20/07 is totally rediculous! I've never heard one happy resident out at that park. Get a life folks, and face it, this place sucks in a big way. It stinks more than any dumpster. And, by the way, have you smelled that dumpster?? If you had you would not have written what you did. Your definitely an employee!!

Why don't you people buy a house if you are so miserable? Why is it anytime a resident writes something positive about the complex, they are automatically assumed to be an "employee"? There are actually people who live here that love it! I can vouch for that as I am one of them and I know several other residents who live here who are happy as well. Aren't all dumpsters smelly? Why don't you post a valid complaint? You all must be part of the "miserable, bi-polar, medicated, divorced residents" that another posting referred to you as earlier. I'll try to stay away from you because you obviously don't have anything better to do than gossip. I guess you didn't get enough of that in high school. I went to the brunch today and enjoyed some pancakes with my wife and many other residents. I must be an "employee" because I liked the pancakes AMLI cooked for us. Get a life, people!

I just moved in and I am very pleased with the complex. Although I got the ugliest look from another resident; she must be one of the people who posted on here. Why do people have to ruin it for everyone? You can speak the truth without insulting someone else's feelings. Have an educated post not just some ridiculous accusations!!
