My boyfriend and I moved here back in April of 2004. In October, he was transferred back to Houston, leaving me here. At first I was a little concerned for my safety - it's not the luxury type apartment that I am used to. Now, to the contrary that may sound a little "snobbish" however, I have come to the conclusion that it's not half bad. The little girl that lives underneath me offers to walk my dog on several occassions and she and her mom have been extremely nice and friendly when I don't really know anyone here, much less have any neighbors. I think the apartments on either sides of me are both empty. It's quiet, except for the sirens at night, and when people see my dog, they all seem to know his name and say hello. The parking could use some re-stripping. I don't know how many times I've left to go to work in the morning and there is a truck double parked next to me, almost literally on top of my car leaving me with very little room to get in (and I am not necessarily a very little person). You can't see the stripes back here so the parking could be a little better. I have yet to have any real maintenance issues - a few but nothing that I either can't fix myself - or that isn't an emergency enough to get it taken care of at the moment.
This is an alright place to live!
