I recently found this page and read the reviews for this, my very first apartment. And I agree with all of it. The review from 12/17/2001, the girl whose car got hit, if she lived in the far back left corner of the complex, I was there when it happened, and that guy hit another car the next day.
My neighbors climbed into our patio and were peering through my roommate's window. Everyone smoked pot, strange men yelled weird things in Spanish at me whenever I went out to my car. It was a very weird place.
I really wouldn't recommend it unless you have absolutley no other choices.
Management was bad then, and it sounds worse now.
Maintenance was a complete joke, we didn't have a working peephole for our front door for about 5 months because they had painted over it.
When we were moving in, as scheduled, they tried to tell us that the apartment wasn't ready and that they had notified us to delay the move in date. --------. And so we moved into an apartment with filthy carpet. (Which for the record, they did come and clean, but that was the only good thing they ever did.)
And the entrance/exit gates were a joke. Every time I was attempting to leave the complex, some ------- would almost hit my car because, well, they're special and can enter through the exit.
Just don't bother living in this run down dump. The only positive aspects are the fairly large floorplans and the sight/sound of the creek when there is water flowing and it doesn't smell funky.
