Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2003
We lived here for 18 months when we first moved to Austin. We rented it over the phone and so had no idea what we were getting into. Our balcony faced Riverside, and all the LOUD clubs which we heard every night until 2AM, our bicycles were stolen off of our 2nd floor patio, we had lots of roaches. It was tolerable, we never had a problem with maintenance, it was close to the bus routes to UT, but it wasn't exactly pleansant so if you have other options, I would take them.
