If you are thinking of moving to Archstone Monterey Ranch, I have a few things for you to consider before you make that mistake. First, yes the apartment does have a few added amenities, but you don't get the chance to enjoy them. The basketball court is always being used by young kids that do not even live in the community. When brought to the attention of the manager, he did nothing. The pool is always closed on fun days you would actually use it with your family. Example: Memorial day. (Go ahead test this theory on the 4th) When brought to the attention of the manager, he did nothing. The computer room, with two cheap computers and a broken printer, is always being used by 13 year olds on myspace even though there is a sign that reads "no minors without adult supervision." When brought to the attention of the manager he did nothing. The Gym had a fitness trainer that made several residents uncomfortable, when brought to the attention of management, he did nothing. To be honest, I never checked out the volley ball or tennis courts, but I'm sure the results would have been the same. The clubhouse, with the movie room, toddler play area, and lounge were never available. In the 15 or more trips I made down there, I was always met with a sign that said it was being rented, most of the time by a church or something that had nothing to do with the residents. When brought to the attention of the manager...I'm sure you can guess the result. I am not a bitter person. I lived in this community for over three years. I thought that at one time is was a great place to live. Unfortunately the management and most of its staff changed. The new management has made a big inpact on this community. The office staff has changed over completely several times. When you have a group of eight employees that constantley change, that should tell you something about the management. This is the only very rude thing I have to say, but I hope it drives the ball home for you, the manager doesn't know his #@% from a hole in the ground. Thank you for your time.

Did it really take you three years to get out? That is what I call not knowing when to get.
