Great place to live, not too far from downtown

Hardchore Austinites think anything over a 5 minute walk is a long commute, but I can get to downtown in about 15-20 minutes from here. The management is friendly, and takes care of things right away (I asked them about my lock yesterday, today it is fixed). THey do a lot of "apartment community" type events which I don't participate in, but it's nice for someone who is looking for that. The apartments are modern, clean, but if you are looking for luxery, you are probably better off elsewhere. Finally, I feel very safe here and have never had any problems. I read this website ALOT while searching for an apt, and I feel the only people who write on here are people who complain, so I thought I'd say something good! Not "typical Austin" place, in fact, you're in the middle of anytown USA with concrete and targets, but it's not a bad start for someone just moving here.
