The not so great bargain on the East side of town is a nightmare. I lived in the run down complex for two years and have not a good thing to say about the place with the exception that I paid $325.00 when I moved in and the rent increased 4 times over the course of two years. The inside of the apartment was a dump, painted counters, a stove that didn't work, leaky faucets and the list goes on. Getting management to do any repairs on the apartment was like pulling teeth. The manager/owner was and is an -------. I havn't lived there for 6 months now and they are trying to screw me out money for fabricated repairs after I moved out. I highly recomend spending a little more money and you definitely get what you pay for compared to Archway Apartments. Beware of Austins slum lord...
