If you are a quiet normal person, on a budget, who needs a place close to downtown I would recommend at least checking it out.

If you aren't afraid of benign prostitution and drug dealing a block away and like the convenience of beer and toilet paper across the street at RBM mart, which is run by very nice Indian guys, then Archways is a good deal.

Also Mi Madres which has the best breakfast tacos in tarnation is within walking distance. The management is doing a great job in cleaning up the area. They own two other complexes down the street. Word has it the complexes were riddled with crime before Archway management bought them.

Management doesn't put up with ---- from tenants which makes it pretty peaceful. There was some drama for a while with some hardcore girls inviting their dirty, squatter friends to party every night, but they soon got evicted.

It's not the prettiest place but the location is good and cable is free. Tenants are respectable. Keep your bike inside if it's worth alot or you don't have a nice lock.
