My biggest mistake in Austin was to move to the Argosy apartment complex. It was a hellish experience for the next 9 months.
The apartments themselves are very old. Knobs keep falling, the microwave does not work, no trays or bulbs in refrigerators. The sanitation system keeps failing.
The managements attitude tops it all. Anything goes wrong, they blame you. You are first told about the charges you will have to pay because of the problem.
They dont have any concept of customer service and are very impolite in their behaviour. To them the tenant is doing them a favor by staying in their complex.
Avoid Argosy under any circumstance!
