Price is good, but not worth it

There are so many break ins at this apartment complex that I did not feel safe living there. This is including apartment breakins as well as auto breakins. I will ese on average one car a week with a broken window.
There is an alarm system but it is so flakey that it is worthless. The rent is a good price and the model unit that you can be shown looks pretty nice, but once you see your actual apartment you will say to yourself "bait and switch" the cabinets, wallpaper, flooring, etc are all from the 1980's (and we saw the installation tag inside one of the cupboards to varify this).
Parking is o.k. if you live in the back of the complex, if you live in the middle somewhere expect to walk.
laundry facilities are available and typically not full. They recently had a washer "upgrade" but this mean new washers that hold less clothes and cost a quarter more. In addition they raised the price of the dryers but did not upgrade them.
On average I was unhappy living here and am not renewing my lease.
