hey i still live here. third floor 1-bed corner unit. very quiet, also lots of stairs but like i said very quiet and i am a super light sleeper. i never set up my alarm system and never had a breakin(10 months so far),, i did have my side view mirror glass stolen (11 for new glass, 135 for install which i still haven't done) but i think that week there were a n umber of hits and since then when i get off from my night job b/t 11pm and 1 am I have seen a cop car posted by my building.... basically with management alfredo (who think isn't here anymore)was awesome when i moved in, i don't knwo the new blodne lady but the otehr two are supposedly longtimers, the head lady does have bad people skills but the one you really talk to is ok.. but thsi is definitely business to her. talk to her with respect, carefully word how you 'complain' and you will get what you want and quickly (think why your parents always told you never to piss off your waiter). I've gotten free key copies, sympathy/ increased patrol from my mirror theft, very prompt maintenance (when i moved in on a sunday my a/c wasn't working and i went and politely (and slightly desperately it was summer)informed managemnet, left to run errands for like maybe an hour or so and returned and it was working. that rocked since my last place (porperty managed by REMAX) left me without working a/c for TEN MONTHS!!!
it is defitenyl a simple place. i'm not super big on the laundry (its cheap but unpredictalbe and slow, i go to the washateria down at guad. and 38th), but walgreens is a walk away, so is big lots, a new taqueria, kareoke like lots of it, pizza, subway, highland mall is really close too. the intersection sucks but since it is predictably suckable it never realyl throws off my schedule.
water is covered in rent. micro/fridge don't work the best but work.. hmm.. yeah just a simple older place but they do take pride in their place, but it is kind of on the border of so-called good and bad. you will see lots of cops on your way home but not inside the complex... also there is no mail outbox, which is strange but you can send mail by big lots and there is a basket in the office when they are open. mail man comes around 10/11 am...
sorry for crapyp typing and rambling but hope it is useful.
pool is nice , there really is pool volleyball every saturday.. jacuzzi kind of works, relaxing none theless.

also i paid a rate of 465/mo for the smaller 1 br 512 sq. feet. they gave me until 2/28 to agree to new lease price of 495. it i waited to resign my lease after taht until my two month notice deadline this month it was going to go up to like 540 or so i think.
