Not perfect, but well worth it

This place has some of the lowest rents in the area, and that's what I like most here. I have a friend who has lived here for 3 years now and he still likes it. I've been here about four months and have had no problems. It beats the pants off the crap I had to put up with in East Austin. Ok, so I don't always find a parking place right next to my apartment, and guests have to park by the perimeter fence, but there is always a spot to be found. Ok, so it's a big place, too, and if you live on the front side (Justin Ln) you probably hear the firetrucks occasionally, but I live on the back side and have a nice view of a soccer field from my patio, so make sure you know exactly which unit you'll be getting before you sign your lease. As far as my experience with noise goes, I'm usually a pretty quiet person and I have noticed no noise from my neighbors besides the occasional footfalls from upstairs. I was written up for noise after hammering at 10:30 at night (I was putting up pictures after a long day of moving) so I know the management responds quickly to complaints. Oh, and I've been riding the bus a lot more lately since it's so convenient (and gas is so expensive).
