Ok, let me sum it up....it was priced pretty decent before they got bought out and threw 'crestview' in their name. Now prices are ABSURD.

The Goods:
-Billy the Maint Guy; superb and friendly, down to earth and honest
-Great convenient location
-Nice open green areas to just take walks in
-I live in back bldg w/older people-all so friendly
-Older apts always have nifty storage spots
-Great pool & hot tub
-Anna is really cool, always liked her...thats about it for the office staff

The Bads:
-HIGH elec bill as high as the Frost Tower....avg $180-200/month from may-sep; in winter avg was $140 for dec-feb
-Water bill so high, I thought they were filling up pool from my sinks...seriously avg $50-60
-Lack of parking; all the youngsters invite their homies over so shame on you adults for having a job and coming home around 6....enjoy the fenced parking
-The location is also a negative; too close to Lamar/Airport/183-homeless people enjoy the argosy as well; break ins & drug deals by the back green dumpster happen alot too since its an easy get away
-A tenant has beat up his girlfriend SEVERAL times (checked APD crime stats) and is still living there
-A lady has a one bdrm w/3, yes 3 KIDS
-BEES, BEES, BEES...not the cute honey bees on flowers, but freaking wasps/yellow jackets- the ones that fly at your head when trying to open front door & make nice homes on balcony
-check your mold levels....in ac vents....
-AC's are old...so elec bills are HIGH, old apts, old ac vents, old flow...
-Too many kids, actual 18-21 year olds...yeah i know...and people who are pushing mid 30's wanting to be 21 again-the volleyball gang
-Volleyball gang: HOG the pool 2-3 times a week and stay out there ALL DAYYYYYYYY; the signs say no alcohol or dogs...yeah right, i always see tons of beer cans/bottles, cigs on deck, dogs in pool, people almost conceiving children in hot tub, and loud crappy rock
-oh and so much for the small pet requirements; someone has a HUGE alaskan dog that barks all the time and scares the crap out of me
-paper thin walls, so keep quiet when getting it on or having an argument or jamming out to horrible egyptian rap...good god, cant wait to be gone....
-the rent is high; they should bring all units down about 30-40 a month, then all will be well
-too many damn stray cats.....mean ones that hiss at you....there is a hippy section of apts by the green drug dealing dumpster, they seriously yell at small kids for walking too close to their 50c yard ornament

...ok, so overall...nice starter, first time apt; but if you are trying to save money then go elsewhere. there are some nice apts near shoal creek that offer great packages/perks, just do the math and RESEARCH
