I read all the reviews and thought some of them were exagerrated. I have seen no gang fights, drug dealing or wife beatings. Saw a bunch of cops here once, but it turns out they were chasing someone that didn't live here but tried to escape by going through the complex. Truth as I see it...about half of those here are normal hard working people, and the other half are pretty much losers. Complex is salvagable but needs work. The maintenance staff works hard, but they seem understaffed and under funded. Basically the entire Anderson Mill is sub par anymore. Said that Austin's first suburban area has all the common urban ailments, homelessness, drugs, traffic and garbage in the streets.
