I have lived here for 2 yrs(from Jan, 2003 my lease is up April 2005 & over the last 2 yrs this is what I have encountered.

Before I get into the really bad stuff I will start you out with the smaller things. The foundation SUCKS!!! I always have ants in my bathroom, & around my sliding glass door the weather striping isn't intact & there are bugs from outside that can get in due to this problem. During the winter pack on the clothes, because you can feel the draft from every window in the apt, & rain leaks from the windows, & the window in my kitchen DOESN'T EVEN LOCK! There are always people screaming outside,playing loud booming music, in their apt, & cars, fighting ect, kids are out all hrs of the night, they scream, & shout & their parents are nowhere insight, they knock on your door and run off..ALL the time. I have actually had gang memebers knock on my door trying to get my 11 yr. old to go outside, for what I have no idea!! There is ALWAYS noise coming from the apts that surround you, the walls are either super thin and they are just super LOUD, cause you can hear EVERYTHING!! Almost none of the maintence crew speak english, so if you don't speak spanish you're pretty much screwed, well now on to the really bad things.....

1)A man was shot in the head in broad day light while kids watched. The man was dead by the time the police arrived.

2)My 11 yr old son was beat up at the pool by 4 older boys that didn't even live on the property, they were able to get in because the pool locks were broken.

3)Our dishwasher was broke and it took them a month to fix it, because they tried every cheap way to fix it rather then fixing it right.

4)On Christmas we decorated our door, & kids vandalized it numerous time, we kept going to the leasing office asking them to send out notices to not mess with peoples door, but they did NOTHING!!!

5)A guy in our building had a 4 hr stand off that involved the police, swat team, and snipers, it ended with the guy starting his apt. on fire, & jumping out of his window, which my 11 yr old witnessed.

6)Gang writing was found on the wall of our building, and in the wash room on the washers.

7)A rat/mouse was in our apt, it got into our cabinets & ate our food, & left rat droppings in our cabinet, the only way they offered to fix this problem was by drilling a hole in our cealing, which they admitted to that would let in a draft,so we declined that way,& asked for a new method, and they never came back out to deal with it.

8)A homeless guy knocked on my front door asking for money. On a seperate day I sent my 11 yr old to take out the trash, & while doing so he was encountered by a homeless guy who was hiding behind the dumpster, he then houned my child for money.

9)2 girls got into a fight outside our building. An hr later one of the girls boyfriend came out here & punched a window, cutting his arm so bad that we had to call 911 to prevent him from bleeding to death. The police said to call our 24 hr maintence because of the amount of blood it was consider a contamintated area, but they couldn't reach them, after an hr of trying the police officer finally called the Fire Dept, to come clean up the area.

10)There was a gang fight outside our building that my 11 yr old also witnessed, now I am afraid for him to be outside unattended due to fear that they may come back to retaliate.

11)Twice in the past yr I have heard gun shots being fired, & one of those incidents the following day a guy was found murdered.

12) The guy next to us had a flood which flooded his entire apt, & leaked over to our apt. soaking our carpet & leaving behind an awful odor, they came out once to fix it by wet vaccuming it,but failed to fix the leak next door, then that didnt working so they tried putting a humidifier, & and took out the padding from under the carpet, but leaving the carpet that had been soaked with water & never came out again, my apt, still stinks, & could develope a mold problem, they promised me they would be finished by 1-12-05 which is today, but they haven't finish, my apt is in disray due to this, because I had to move everything from my dining room into my living room. I can't even move in my living room & I have two kids living here!!!

This apt complex is very unsafe to live in, & the leasing office is impossible to work with. If you leave after 9PM finding a place to park is near impossible. I wouldn't recommend my worse enemy to live here, I can't express enough how much we hate it, & if you have kids in school, the ONLY middle school they can attend which is Web, doesnt offer a bus so you HAVE to pick up & drop off your child ( which interferred with my work schedule) & the school is very unsafe, its not even rated acceptable on the internet, I took my child out of this school after his first two weeks because he was getting threatened because he was white. I put him in a private school, I would rather pay $300.00 a month then have my child go to that school. Just something to think about if you have a child in middle school. I WOULD NOT UNDER ANY REASONS RECOMMEND LIVING IN THIS HELL HOLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
