I've lived here about a year and there are several things that are taking this place down a notch.
1. Parking is now 100% occupied since they've added pay-for-cover spots.
2. Quality of tenants is in decline, I believe they are running up the occupancy to prepare for a sale of the complex. You now have gang bangers, punks, and illegals living in about 50% of the complex where they had been previously hidden in the back of the complex. The hispanic gang bangers are the worst, it's not their fault, their just ignorant and that's their upbringing. Am I prejudice, yes, against ignorance and antisocial behavior.
3. Management doesn't invest in the inside of the units, it's all facade, new exterior paint, new tar on pavement, new carports, but nothing to improve on interior.
4. Exterior walls are paper thin, last week when --------- next door were in a domestic dispute, someone outside fired off a handgun, it sounded like it was yards from my window. Thankfully no dead bodies yet, but I'm sure since the stupid woman keeps coming back to the idiot next door, it's only a matter of time.

Your a moron, you are probably barely have your high school diploma, and work a minimum-wage job - how can you afford living in AT with your racist, bigot attitude? I'm latina, and am so offended by your comments - but according to you, I could never be working on a Master's or drive a luxury car, and have contacts with the prestigious movers and shakers in Austin.

The only thing in this review I could agree with in the slightest bit is the part about parking being tough to find on occasion. The rest would seem to be completely made up as my expierence at Austin Trail for the last two years was nothing like what was described.
