Think before you lease

Willow Creek Apartments, now known as Worthing Hills was an experience. Lighting, parking, and safety are an issue. Management is not keen on solving these problems. They just put to the section in your lease that says that management is not responsible for any bad things that might happen to you, or most especially, your vehicle. Electronic gates, meant to protect, are never in operation. Cats run rampant around the property. And because the property was built in the sixties all kinds of pesky rodents might come out to greet you, especially roaches. Bring plenty of raid.
I will say however that Willow Creek, excuse me Worthing Hills, was the best deal for my money. When I moved in rent was $535.00 for 700 square feet. I had a very spacious, affordable, one bedroom that is unheard of in Austin. It is also located on the UT busroute which is very convenient.
Management is okay. They try there best to fix whatever breaks down in a speedy manner. However they will never do month to month leases, in case that might be a problem for some of ya'll.
Overall my stay in Willow was alright. I would recommend for a more experienced leaser. First timers just won't feel safe enough to stay there.
