I've lived at Avendaro for 4 months so far. I have a 13 month lease. I have had very few problems. The staff has been very helpful, although it has changed a bit since I moved in. The people who live upstairs from me have two kids that like to play, so that's annoying of course. The people who live downstairs have two kids as well, but we down seem to annoy them so generally the noise coming through from other apartments is actually loud noise not just everything. The only other major problem I've had is the gate. It seems to never work. I haven't quite figured out why yet. Traffic is not worse here than anywhere else. I'm sorry, but yes the apartment is on HIGHWAY 620! There is going to be some traffic during the usual rush hours, but its not awful at all. I've never had trouble getting in or out of the complex. Otherwise, the apartment itself is gorgeous. I have a 2 Bed/ 2 bath with 1124 sq. ft. and it's way more than we actually need. The kitchen and master bath are huge and the closet is like a-whole-nother room! I am extremely happy living here. The school district has some of the top rating. All of the school's meet federal and state academic standards, some of them exceed them. I have never had issues with ANYONE partying. Never seen any drugs in the complex. I think the most partying I've ever seen is the residents of the complex at the pool/hot tub/sand volly ball court drinking beer.
I have never felt more safe or comfortable living anywhere else.
And just for the record, I'm trying to get my brother and sister-in-law to move in, with my four year old neice. If I thought this place was as bad as some of these others have said it is, I wouldn't suggest they live here with a four year-old

I've lived in building 19 for a year now, my young neighbors smoke pot on their balcony (therefore, I never open the windows), I can hear their conversations through the walls of every room in my house (and they are talking at a normal level), and the trash across from my apartment is always overflowing. I admit, the apartment itself is beautiful, but I don't know if it's worth what we pay.
