If you are fed up with there only being one compactor for two whole apartment complexes and all the filth and stench that accumulates, here is the link to the City of Austin's Solid Waste Management site. This link will take you directly to a "complaint" page where you can write and email it directly to them. Unfortunately, this seems to be the only way to get something done:

The trash at the compactor was piled higher than my head yesterday. I am over 6 feet tall. This place is a freakin' $hit hole. A stinkin freakin' $hit hole. Talking of $hit, the manager here is a motherf***ing nightmare. I hate that trashy redneck. Yes, everyone needs to contact the Waste Management. This place is disgusting. Protest people.
