Lived in a one bedroom for 6 months, no problems with the apartment. Management however is a different situation. I was sent notices about late fees that I didn't have, and when I went to ask about what the problem was, no one could tell me what my fees were for. Finally on my third trip down to the office things were worked out. (By the way, I did owe them $2 because I was told the wrong amount to pay for my 1st months pro-rated rent. The notices I received said I owed in between $70-$100 range.) I've been out of the apartment for a month and it seems like it has all started over again. I got a notice in the mail and now they are trying to keep my pet deposit, security deposit, and tell me I owe $125 in damages. I had my apartment checked the day I moved out and was told they had never seen an apartment left so clean. Management will be seeing tomorrow. Save yourself the headache.

It's been a few days and I have dealt with them again...or should I say I've been completely hung out to dry. The $125 I was being charged for "damages" was apparently a fee to have someone come in my apartment and tell the office that my apartment needed to be deflead and deodorized. So fair warning to anyone. It doesn't matter how clean you keep your apartment, it doesn't matter if you pet has never had fleas, and it doesn't matter that you have paid a $250 fee plus pet rent. You will be expected to pay the extra $125 for defleaing and an $35 for carpet cleaning. (This $35 is for everyone, not just for pet owners.) And to the person who commented that the others here don't understand the procedures of moving out, of the 6 different apartments I've lived at, this is the only place that has not fully refunded me my security deposit and pet deposit. I wouldn't even consider living in a different apartment complex in any other city if I find out they were owned by the same company.

Small claims court. They did this to me, too. They are con artists. Sue them - I did, and I won. THEY ARE SCAMMERS!
