I moved in to Balcones Woods Apartments about three weeks ago and have had nothing but problem after problem. I moved into Balcones Woods because I found the floor plans to be cute and practical. However, had I known what I know now I would not of given this place even a look. The night we moved in none of the locks to the apartment were working. You have to lock your storage door and the laundry door with the key but the key would not work. I found out later that none of the locks had been replaced. None of our counter tops had been cleaned or replaced. They had stains and were all marked up. If that was not enough our tolet didn't work and the laundry compartment was broken. Everything was fixed except the counter tops because we would have to be out of our apartment over night. However, since the first night our shower has broken twice, and our tolet three times. This has all happened in a window of about three weeks. So, if you plan on moving I would rethink it. The price sounds good but the apartments are old and falling apart.
